PENFOLD - LIMITED EDITION

When we think of British Art and design, we envision timeless elegance, a reverence for tradition, and an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship. Our Penfold Special Edition embodies this spirit in every sense.

This limited edition watch features a dial created in close collaboration with Bristol-based artist Penfold (aka Tim Gresham).

We wanted the artwork on the dial to reveal hidden depths, becoming more dynamic as you tilt the watch.  With each slight adjustment, the light plays across the surface, bringing the height and shadow of the bar and the black dot into sharper focus along with the deep etching of the Beaucroft emblem. The three core colours used in the design are thoughtfully chosen to evoke a sense of contemporary sophistication.

The dial’s design features a unique layering technique; the base is a pristine, matte-finished white disc, symbolising the blank canvas.Above it sits a metal bar, featuring a dynamic two-tone linear airbrushed gradient, paired with a deep debossed Beaucroft emblem.

Tim Gresham, aka ‘Penfold’, is an artist working and living in Bristol, UK. His chosen fields range from explorative abstract paintings and screen prints to large scale immersive installations and murals. He has worked with many iconic brands over his career. Inspired by an eclectic mix; from the Pop Art Movement through to British Modernism. 

His work has been exhibited all over the world and his murals can be seen as far as Shanghai and Denver.

This 75 piece limited edition watch with launch in London at British Watchmakers' Day on 8th March, with the remaining pieces going LIVE for preorder at 9AM GMT 9th March

A portion of the proceeds from each sale will be donated to the Alliance of British Watch & Clockmakers, supporting the future of British watchmaking and design. 

We know the bracelet can make or break a watch, that's why we've left no detail of our unconsidered. From it's fully articulating screw links to it's micro adjustment buckle, this is a bracelet that delivers, shaped directly with the watch community.

It's beautifully tapered links from 20mm down to 16mm at the buckle, double quick release pins and impressive scratch resistant coating of 1200-1300HV creates a bracelet that is both elegant and ruggedly durable.

Each Element is hand assembled and inspected by our expert UK assembly partner Horologium, who regulate the Miyota 9039 movement to a tolerance of +/- 10 seconds per day.
