SOLARIS GMT

The Solaris GMT features a highly expressive dial design built around the idea of the sun in motion.

Surrounding this core is a linear gradient chapter ring, transitioning from deep purple to vivid orange, capturing the shifting colours of a setting sun. The palette is further inspired by an in-flight view Matt experienced of Bryce Canyon, where the dramatic rock formations reveal natural layers of purple and orange tones when seen from 37,000 feet.

The result is a dial that feels both cosmic and geological - and a meeting point between sky and earth.

The concept behind the Solaris GMT is rooted in a simple idea: “The Sun Never Sets on Time+Tide.”
As Time+Tide expands globally there is always daylight somewhere in their network. The watch captures this continuous movement of time, sunshine and creativity.

“We liked the idea of a watch that chases the sun. With the three studios now active globally, there’s always somewhere awake, always something happening. We have teams in cities that never sleep, and neither does this watch!” James Darby, Time+Tide.

The project began in October 2025, when the London Time+Tide Watch Discovery team travelled to Cambridge to join Beaucroft for a collaborative and immersive design workshop centred around travel, escape, and natural landscapes beyond the city.

“It was an opportunity to introduce the Time+Tide team to how we design. Everything starts with a story and that story becomes the foundation of the watch. From there, colour, texture, and form naturally flow to ensure the watch ultimately satisfies what we call The Long Look for the owner.” Karim Faisali, Beaucroft Co-founder

The Solaris GMT measures 39.5mm in diameter with a 46.5mm lug-to-lug and 12.6mm case height to offer proportions that give the watch genuine presence on the wrist without sacrificing elegance. The case carries Beaucroft's signature flowing lug-to-lug curves, with a combination of brushed, polished and bead-blasted finishing.

The bracelet has been developed in close dialogue with the Beaucroft community: fully articulating screw links, a micro-adjustment buckle, double quick-release pins and a scratch-resistant coating deliver a bracelet that is as practical as it is refined. The links taper from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the buckle for a natural, wrist-conforming profile.

Solaris GMT is hand-assembled and regulated in the Beaucroft's dedicated UK assembly facility, Loupe Works.
